In the game of football, footballers along the line get involved with allegations which are against the ethics of football. We have made a list of some top football players who have been involved in rape cases.

1. Cristiano Ronaldo

The first on our list accused of rape in this story is football player and Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. Back in 2010, a young woman claimed that Cristiano Ronaldo had raped her.

2. Neymar

Back in 2019, a woman filed a police report accusing Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar of rape. According to reports, the alleged rape had taken place in Paris.

3. Karim Benzema and Franck Ribery

In 2014, Frank Ribéry and Karim Benzema, two of France’s biggest football stars, were acquitted by a Paris court on charges of having s*x with an underage prostitute.

4. Diego Maradona

Maradona was alleged to have been involved in two rape cases. In 2017, during the final of the Confederations Cup in Saint-Petersburg, Maradona was accused of raping a journalist, Ekaterina Nadolska.

In 2016, De Gea, the Manchester United goalkeeper, was implicated in a s*xual assault investigation in Spain. De Gea was accused of setting up encounter between players and women.
