Students Allegedly Assault Headmaster of Obuasi Senior High Technical School Amid Suspected Ritual Claims
The headmaster of Obuasi Senior High Technical School has reportedly been assaulted by some students following claims of suspected ritual activities on the school’s campus.
According to reports, the students allegedly attacked the headmaster, leaving him injured. The allegations surrounding suspected ritual activities have not been independently verified, and authorities are yet to establish the facts surrounding the incident.
The unrest reportedly escalated beyond the assault, with students allegedly destroying school property during the disturbance. Reports also indicate that the headmaster’s official bungalow was nearly set on fire before police intervened to prevent further damage.
To restore calm, four police patrol teams were deployed to the school. The security personnel succeeded in bringing the situation under control, and investigations have since commenced to determine the cause of the disturbance and identify those responsible for the alleged assault and destruction of property.
