GES Introduces Step-by-Step Guide for Staff to Access GES-MIS Portal

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has released a simple step-by-step guide to help teaching and non-teaching staff successfully access the GES Management Information System (GES-MIS) Portal.

The guide is intended to assist staff who are logging into the portal for the first time or those who have forgotten their passwords. It outlines the password reset process and encourages users to update their personal information after gaining access to the system.

According to the guide, staff should first visit the official GES-MIS portal at https://ges-mis.org. Those who cannot remember their passwords are advised to click on the “Forgot Password” option to generate a new login password.

Steps to Access the GES-MIS Portal

GES outlined the following procedures for staff:

  1. Visit the GES-MIS Portal.
  2. Click “Forgot Password.”
  3. Enter your Staff ID.
  4. Click “Reset Password.”
  5. A newly generated password will instantly appear on the screen. Staff are advised to save or copy the password.
  6. Return to the login page.
  7. Enter your Staff ID as your username.
  8. Enter the newly generated password.
  9. Click “Login.”
  10. Review and update your profile where necessary before clicking “Save Changes” to complete the process.

Keep Your Profile Updated

GES has reminded all staff to ensure that their profile information on the GES-MIS portal is accurate and up to date. Maintaining updated records is essential for effective personnel management, communication, payroll administration, promotions, transfers, and other staff-related services.

The Service also advised staff experiencing difficulties accessing the portal to contact their respective District MIS Officer for technical support.

GES says ensuring that staff information remains current will contribute to improved service delivery and efficient management of education personnel across the country.
