Seven Odupong SHS Students Barred From Writing Exam Over Late Arrival

Seven students from Odupong Senior High School in Odupong-Kasoa, in the Awutu Senya East District of the Central Region, have been denied entry to the examination hall after arriving late for their Integrated Science examination.

The incident occurred today when the students reportedly arrived about 40 minutes after the examination had commenced.

According to examination regulations, candidates are typically required to report to their examination centres on time, with late arrivals often not permitted entry once the exam has started to ensure fairness and integrity in the conduct of the examination.

As a result, the affected students were prevented from joining their colleagues in the examination hall and were not allowed to write the paper.

The development has sparked concern among some students and school authorities, although no official statement has yet been issued by the school or examination supervisors regarding possible next steps for the affected candidates.

Further details on whether any special consideration will be granted to the students are yet to be made public.
