The Ghana Police Service (GPS) through their stern investigation have arrested two individuals suspected of involvement in the Ablekuma bullion van robbery that happened on the June 22, 2023 in the country’s capital.
The two suspects have been brought before the Kaneshie court and remanded into Police custody.
According to sources on that faithful day, the pick-up truck was transporting some passengers who were bankers, and they were allegedly the intended target of the crooks.
Four robbers followed the pick-up to the Ablekuma Fan Milk fueling station, where a firefight took place killing the policeman.
While sat in front of the pickup, the police officer was shot repeatedly at a close range. The body is currently kept in the mortuary at the Police Hospital, where it is being preserved and examined.
