Man attempts suicide due to his inability to afford kidney treatment [video]
Joshua Agamah, widely known as Yehowa Nyagbe and a resident of Ashaiman Lebanon, attempted suicide due to his inability to cover the costs of his kidney treatment.
Eyewitnesses reported that the middle-aged man climbed an ECG pylon early yesterday morning in a bid to end his life. Despite the efforts of onlookers to dissuade him from climbing, their pleas were ignored.
After an hour of joint efforts by the ECG, police, and fire service, they successfully brought him down from the high-voltage pole.

He claimed he had a kidney problem and needed money for dialysis but hadn’t been able to raise the money for the therapy when asked why he had chosen to end his life.
On the other side, he felt that everything should stop because his friends and family had abandoned him to his fate.
