Vaccinate your Child now against Polio-Ghana Health Service warns

The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has cautioned the general public to vaccinate their children against Polio. In a flyer released by the Ghana Health Service, it read, “There is no cure for polio, the only way to protect your child against polio is to vaccinate them with the multiple doses of the vaccine.”

Polio is a virus that may cause paralysis and is easily preventable by the polio vaccine.

Polio is transmitted through contaminated water or food, or contact with an infected person.
