A Nigerian pastor tells a bride to take off her eyelashes during the wedding ceremony, saying that if she doesn’t comply, the ceremony won’t continue.
On TikTok, a recently wedded bride going by the handle @thisisjessicaokah shared the unexpected turn of events that occurred on her wedding day.
Before the wedding, the minister had expressed worries about the eyelashes, the woman clarified. She should have known better, but she forgot and thought the ceremony would not be affected.
She was unfortunate enough that the priest called off the church wedding and demanded that she take off her lashes, which she did before the ceremony went on.
Since then, social media users have criticized the preacher in a surge of reactions to the video.
