Kumawood actress sobs hysterically during her 17-year-old daughter's funeral

At the funeral for her daughter, Stephanie Appiah, actress Nana Yaa Appiah from Kumawood was very upset and inconsolable.

Stephanie, a 17-year-old Kwabenya Senior High School student tragically died.

In a YouTube interview with One Ghana TV, Nana Yaa courageously revealed the agonizing specifics of her daughter’s condition and the sad events leading up to her untimely passing.

Nana Yaa acknowledged Stephanie’s illness, but she opted to keep it a secret for fear that it might prevent her from running in the school elections.

Later, Stephanie’s condition deteriorated and Nana Yaa had to take her to the hospital.

The doctor instructed me to get blood for her because she was in serious condition. I discovered she had passed away when I got back to the hospital. I saw her dead body lying there,” she recalled.

There, she was diagnosed with Malaria Plus and other diseases, which the family’s grief over.
