His reported new girlfriend, Ines Garcia, has gone viral online after sharing the heartwarming story of how the two first met and fans are loving every bit of it.

According to Ines Garcia, their first encounter happened in the most unexpected and ordinary way at a small shop when her bank card declined while trying to pay for snacks.

“I met Lamine in the most normal way ever,” she recalled.

She explained that she became embarrassed and stressed while attempting to transfer money from another account, before a random boy standing beside her quietly laughed and offered to help.

“At this point just let me save you,” she quoted him as saying.

That “random boy” turned out to be none other than Lamine Yamal.

Ines revealed that the young football star paid for her snacks, after which they started chatting outside the shop. She described him as calm, funny, humble, and surprisingly down-to-earth.

Interestingly, she said he never mentioned football, FC Barcelona, or his fame during their early conversations, making her believe he was simply an ordinary young man with good manners.

The two later exchanged numbers and began speaking every day. Although Lamine occasionally disappeared because of what he called “training,” Ines admitted she still had no idea who he really was.

The shocking discovery came later when she opened TikTok one day and saw the same young man she had been talking to appearing in a Barcelona jersey with millions of views online.

“I literally called him and said, ‘Wait… YOU are THAT Lamine?!’ And he was just laughing the whole time,” she shared.

The story has since melted hearts across social media, with many fans praising Lamine Yamal for his humility despite his rapid rise to global football stardom at such a young age.
