Great Ampong apologizes to Daddy Lumba over their feud after being ordained as a Reverend Minister in the US

Ghanaian-American Archbishop Kofi Adonteng Boateng has consecrated renowned gospel musician Great Ampong as a Reverend Minister in honor of his dedication to using music to spread the gospel and uplift the Christian community.

During Great Ampong’s visit to the American church of Archbishop Kofi Adonteng Boateng, the ordination took place.

Archbishop Kofi Adonteng Boateng used the occasion to encourage Great Ampong to consider his previous disagreements and extend his apologies to those he had a falling out with, especially Daddy Lumba, before bestowing upon him the title.

Great Ampong followed the Archbishop’s counsel and apologized to his fellow musician, Daddy Lumba, during the church’s ordination ceremony.

Great Ampong has been a well-known player in Ghana’s gospel music scene for almost 20 years. He is renowned for his inspirational gospel songs.

Among his many popular songs are Hossana, Akoko Funu, and Style Bia bi. This new position represents a major turning point in his ministry and spiritual development.

Because both Great Ampong and Daddy Lumba have released trash songs as a way to express their grievances, their dispute has attracted a lot of media attention over the years.

According to reports, Daddy Lumba and Ampong got into a fight over some unpaid royalties after they collaborated on the Christian song “Hosanna.”
