Ghana’s Electoral Commission responds to the alleged recruitment drive

In response to the alleged recruitment campaign that has been going around the internet, the management of the Electoral Commission of Ghana has issued a statement dated January 17, 2023, signed by the chairwoman.

The Commission made it clear that it is not participating in any recruitment efforts, thus the general public should dismiss any claims to the contrary.

“The attention of the Electoral Commission of has been drawn to an advertisement circulating on various social media platforms to the effect that the Commission is undertaking a recruitment exercise. The general public is informed that the Commission is NOT carrying out any recruitment exercise. The public is advised to disregard the said advertisement.”, the statement read.
