The Secretariat told members of GNAT that they are starting a virtual training exercise for them in an official letter dated January 16, 2023, signed by Issac Baah, Head of Compensation and Benefits of GESOPS, in an effort to reach as many members as possible.
The GES Occupational Pension Scheme Secretariat will be starting a virtual training exercise for GNAT members as part of their annual strategy to contact as many members as possible. The declaration said.
The training is intended to “inform and educate members on the benefits of the three-tier pension scheme under the Pension Act (Act 766) as amended, how members of GNAT can derive the maximum benefits from the pension structure or the Scheme, and to address questions from members with respect to the Tier-Two Pension Scheme,” according to the letter.
The GESOPS virtual training is scheduled on January 27, 2023, at precisely 2:00 PM.
