Ghanaian billionaire; Dr. Osei-Kwame popularly known as Despite, was spotted eating at a wayside food joint which people find it to be display of meekness on his part. People believe that as rich as he is, he was not expected to eat at a wayside food joint, but rather a superlative restaurant to maintain his standard as a billionaire.

The Ghanaian business tycoon who was born at Agona Wiamoase, a town in the Ashanti region owns businesses in Ghana which he has term as Despite Group of Companies (DGC). The Despite Group of Companies (DGC) has companies such as; U2 Company Limited (Iodated Salt Production) which is located at Winneba, Okay FM, Peace FM, Neat FM, Hello FM, Despite Stores, Best Point Savings and Loans (Finance), Farming and Building Construction businesses, Neat Foods Company Limited (which produces and markets NEAT Fufu, NEAT Banku, NEAT Abenkwan, NEAT Hausa Koko, NEAT Dairy Products), United Television Company Limited (UTv), and Atona Foods LTD which produces THIS WAY chocolate drink which comes in different flavors, and the THIS WAY Motherlac children’s cereal.

Dr. Osei- Kwame, a business specialist of no mean repute, his insight into creating job avenues for the jobless and relentless promotion of the Ghanaian culture, has received numerous prestigious awards in the past which include an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Human Resource from Canterbury University, Honorary Ambassador of Business Entrepreneur in West Africa (Ambassador) and Honorary man of the moment, Ghana, West Africa.

He has also been awarded wit the Best Entrepreneur for Multimedia by Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana under the auguries of the Ministry of Trade and Industries in 2013. He is a devoted Christian, and God almighty has blessed him with a lovely wife and children.
