Family of Penamang, Adventist Student Shot by Colleague, Express Disappointment in School Authorities and Government

The family of Penamang, the Adventist student who was reportedly shot by her colleague, has expressed profound disappointment in both the school authorities and the government. Speaking in an exclusive interview with Rashard on Gh Page TV, the family revealed how the authorities at the school her daughter attends have acted with seeming indifference towards the situation.

The tragic incident occurred on the premises of the Adventist school, leaving Penamang critically injured. While the family acknowledges that the school did not directly cause the shooting, they argue that the event took place under the school’s supervision and on its grounds. As a result, they had hoped for some form of communication from the school in the aftermath of the incident.

“We expected to hear from the school authorities, especially the headmaster or any of the staff, but not a single person has reached out to us since the incident,” the family revealed, their voices heavy with frustration. Their disillusionment with the school’s response to the crisis is clear, as they feel that the authorities have shown a lack of care or responsibility regarding the well-being of their daughter.
