CAGD Dates for Payment of Salaries and Wages in 2024

The payment dates for salaries and wages for the year 2024 has been made public by the Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD).

The Controller and Accountant General’s Department states that all public sector employees will get their January 2024 salary and wages on January 22, 2024.

Government employees on payroll are guaranteed timely payment of salaries and wages by the Controller and Accountant General’s Department management.

In November 2023, the Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD) released the dates for the 2024 salary and wage payments.

CAGD in their notice said 2024 Salaries and Wages of Civil Servants, the Ghana Education Service (GES), and all other Public Servants paid by the Controller and Accountant-Generals’ Department will be paid on the dates indicated below:

1. January – 22nd

2. February – 22nd

3. March-26th

4. April – 25th

5. May – 27th

6. June – 27th

7. July-25th

8. August – 27th

9. September – 26th

10. October – 24th

11. November – 25th

12. December – 19th

In addition, CAGD made it clear that various banks will start crediting the accounts of employees from the dates indicated above.
