Teacher receives threats from a student’s family for reporting sëxūãl abuse
A teacher in Christian village, a suburb of Achimota, has received multiple threats from a student’s family after she reported a case of sëxūãl abuse.
A 11-year-old student, only identified as Angela, has reportedly been subjected to multiple counts of sëxūãl abuse over a period of three years by three men in Christian Village, a suburb of Achimota.
A teacher who also happens to be a neighbour saw the incident and decided to report it to the police and social welfare.

However, despite her efforts, the teacher received threats from Angela’s family.
This worrying situation does not seem to be one that Angela’s family is actively addressing or concerned about.
