PRINCOF Announces Revised Reopening Date for the 2024/2025 Academic Year
The National Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education-Ghana (PRINCOF) has announced a change in the reopening date for the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The new date, initially set for an earlier period, will now be Monday, January 27, 2025. This adjustment has been made due to unforeseen circumstances that require urgent attention.
In a statement released by PRINCOF, the decision to reschedule the reopening was confirmed following a general meeting held in Sogakope on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. The leadership of PRINCOF explained that this delay is necessary to address certain challenges that have arisen unexpectedly.
“We understand that this change may cause some inconvenience, and we sincerely apologise for any disruption it may cause,” the statement read. PRINCOF assured staff, students, and all stakeholders that they are working tirelessly with the relevant authorities to ensure a smooth transition and a successful start to the academic year.
The conference further expressed its commitment to resolving the current challenges promptly and emphasized the importance of cooperation from all involved parties during this transitional period. PRINCOF stressed that despite the delay, the focus remains on maintaining the high standards of education and ensuring that the Colleges of Education continue to excel in their mission to train educators.
As the adjusted reopening date approaches, PRINCOF encourages all stakeholders to stay updated on any further announcements. The conference remains confident that these adjustments will pave the way for a successful and productive academic year for both students and staff.
For further information or inquiries, PRINCOF urges stakeholders to remain in contact with the College authorities.
