JUST IN: MTN urges customers across the country to re-register their SIM numbers to avoid permanent disconnection [Details Here]
As part of checking the number of phone numbers linked with one’s National Identification Authority (NIA) card and delinking unknown phone numbers, Mobile Telecommunication Network (MTN) wishes to inform all its valued customers to re-register their SIM numbers as directed by the regulator of the National Communication Authority (NCA).
MTN has said in a flyer that all unregistered phone numbers will be disconnected permanently by May 31, 2023. Customers of the network are therefore advised to complete their registration at any MTN service centre to avoid disconnection permanently.

“MTN wishes to inform all its valued customers to re-register their SIM numbers as directed by the regulator of the National Communication Authority. All unregistered phone numbers will be disconnected permanently by the 31st of May, 2023. Complete your registration at any MTN service centre to avoid disconnection permanently. Stay connected everywhere you go.” It said in a statement.
