According to reports, one of Angel Daniel Obinim’s subordinate pastors misappropriated GH600,000 ($6,000) from his business’s funds to place a wager.
Taking “lotto” or staking bets is one of the popular hobbies that most young men and some women engage in. Many people have given testimony about how these actions have left them in debt.
This statement was made by Bishop Obinim during a sermon at his church. In the video, he can be seen praying for a church member who is in debt as a result of a sports wager.

Bishop Obinim claims that his junior pastor, who was employed by the business, believed he would win the wager since the odds were so favourable. Nonetheless, he brought Gh600 million from the company to place the wager. When he won, he intended to refund the full sum and keep the income.
He lost the wager, though, as luck was not on his side. Bishop Obinim talked about how the business was looking for the young man to bring the money.
