JHS 1 Student Hospitalised After Alleged Cutlass Attack by Fellow Student During School Clean-Up
A Junior High School (JHS) 1 student is reportedly in critical condition after allegedly being attacked with a cutlass by a JHS 2 female student during a school clean-up exercise at Assin Krofofrodo D/A Basic School in Ghana’s Central Region.
According to reports, the incident occurred while students were taking part in a routine clean-up exercise on the school premises. The altercation is said to have escalated, resulting in the JHS 1 student sustaining serious injuries from the alleged cutlass attack.
Preliminary information suggests that the incident may have stemmed from allegations that the JHS 1 student had repeatedly behaved inappropriately towards the female student despite several warnings for him to stop. The exact nature of the alleged inappropriate behaviour of him fondling her twin towers.
The injured student was rushed to a medical facility, where he is reportedly receiving treatment in critical condition.
