In Kasoa, thieves commit a daylight heist and flee with the loot

Kelvin Nii Kpakpo, a 25-year-old mobile money (MoMo) vendor who was shot during a daylight robbery at Kasoa Big Man Town in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region, is fighting for his life.

On Tuesday at around 1:00 pm, the event took place next to the Poolside Hotel.

An eyewitness told Adom News that the victim was being accosted while going about his regular routine by two thieves with pump action firearms and a pistol. They got away with an unspecified sum of cash.

She described how the robbers occasionally fired warning shots, causing other bystanders to rush to check what was going on. Three young men between the ages of 18 and 20 were the suspects, according to her, and they were seen on the hotel’s CCTV.
