GES invites KG, Primary, JHS, and SHS teachers to a one-day training programme on point building, Excel and ICT tools in classroom

With reference to NTC letter number NTC/CPD/272/1/86, “Better Life Awaits Foundation” (BLAF) has been licensed as NTC service provider and given the mandate to organize Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programme in the Central Gonja District for teachers.

The Central Gonja District Directorate of the Ghana Education Service (GES) in a letter dated May 24, 2023, with reference number- GES/SR/CGD/PGS/V7, signed by Mrs. Veronica Tampour-Kuupol, District Director of Education, is dispatching the information to teachers within the district.
In line with the above, the foundation is organizing a day’s training workshop for all teachers on point building, excel and ICT tools in classroom which will help in enhancing lesson delivery through ICT. These teachers include KG, Primary, JHS, SHS, Professional teachers in Private schools and Teaching staff at the Directorate.
The training package will include the following:
1. CPD points credited up-front
2. Certificate of participation from NTC/BLAF 3. Handouts
4. Endorsement of teacher training Log Book
5. Lunch and Water
ALSO READ: 200 female students from 48 basic schools received ICT training in Birim Central

SISO’s, Headteachers and Headmasters are by the letter, to bring to the attention of all teachers and register them to make the training a success.
The cost of registration and participation is Seventy-five Ghana Cedis (GHC 75.00) only per teacher.
The registration fees should be paid to the District Training Officer (DTO) before the training session through Momo account no. and Name, (0243976345, SADIK AKIBU) for onward submission to the service provider.
