DSTV warns its customers about fake payment account

Digital Satellite Television, recurrently abbreviated to DStv, is a Sub-Saharan African direct broadcast satellite service owned by MultiChoice and based in Randburg, South Africa.

As a subsidiary of MultiChoice, DSTV Ghana has warned its customers about a fake payment account and have taken steps to have the account on Google taken down. It gave the right payment channels customers can make payment to enjoy its services.

“We have received some reports of a payment scam and have taken steps to have the account on Google taken down. Please channel all payment enquiries to our official number 0302740540. To make your DSTV payment use any of the approved options below; *389#, *759#, MTN-*170#, Vodafone-*110#, ExpressPay, Etransact, SlidePay, MyDStvApp, and accredited dealers.” It said in a public notice.
