At Apromase, close to Kumasi, a policeman and his family were set on fire and killed.
The alleged member of the anti-robbery unit of the police, his wife, and their three-month-old child were set afire on Monday morning.
The family of Police Sergeant Owusu Asante Baafi perished in the fire event that destroyed their home at Apromase in the Ejisu Municipality in the Ashanti Region, according to a report from Kumasi by Graphic Online’s Kwadwo Baffoe Donkor.
The fire was reported to have devoured the residence early on Monday, trapping the police officer and his family inside.
The victim, who was a member of the anti-armed robbery team, died in the fire together with his wife Millicent Agyei and their child.
It was yet unknown what started the fire.
