Vacancy for Regional Girls’ Education Officer in Ashanti Region

  3. Service Tenure: The applicant must be able to serve for at least four more years before reaching the compulsory retirement age.
  4. Additional Qualifications: Although not mandatory, any additional relevant qualifications will be considered an advantage.
  5. Service Record: The candidate should have a satisfactory work history, demonstrating good conduct within the GES.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will assume a range of responsibilities aimed at coordinating and enhancing Girls’ Education initiatives throughout the Ashanti Region. Key duties include:

  1. Coordination: Overseeing the activities of District Girls’ Education Officers in the region.
  2. Training Programs: Organizing training sessions to equip Girls’ Education Officers with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  3. Monitoring: Ensuring that the activities and programs related to Girls’ Education are effectively implemented and monitored.
  4. Collaboration: Working closely with development partners and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to advance Girls’ Education initiatives.
  5. Reporting: Compiling and submitting detailed reports on the progress and challenges of Girls’ Education programs to the Regional Director.
