Update on 2025 GES Promotion Exams Portal

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced ongoing preparations for the 2025 Teacher Promotion Examinations, popularly known as the Aptitude Test.
According to updates from the GES Headquarters, a new database and website are being developed to streamline the promotion application process for teachers across the country. This digital platform is expected to make applications more efficient, transparent, and accessible to qualified candidates.
As part of the process, Regional and District IT staff have been directed to submit relevant data to GES Headquarters. Once these submissions are complete, IT officers from the regional, district, and headquarters levels will conduct a validation exercise to ensure the system operates smoothly and effectively.

Following the validation stage, the new system will be rolled out for teachers who qualify to apply for promotions to the following ranks: Principal Superintendent (PS), Assistant Director II (ADII), Assistant Director I (ADI), and Deputy Director (DD).
The GES has assured teachers that all necessary steps are being taken to guarantee a successful rollout and smooth application process this year. Teachers are therefore encouraged to remain patient and optimistic as the final touches are made to the new system.
With these developments, the 2025 Teacher Promotion Exams are expected to take place as scheduled, giving deserving teachers the opportunity to advance in their careers.
