Two police officers interdicted over unprofessional conduct

In regards to the unprofessional conduct of two police officers, the management of the Ghana Police Service (GPS) as of December 28, 2022, issued an official statement with reference number-PAD/PRESS/VOL.7/6, signed by Godwin Ahianyo, Public Affairs Officer.

Two police officers from the Asokwa Divisional MTTD in Kumasi, PW/inspector Martha Ackah and No. 6233 P/WSargeant Felicia Ocran, were detained by the police administration after they were caught on camera acting inappropriately. Following a comprehensive investigation into the incident in accordance with Police internal disciplinary processes, the officers will be charged.

In order to take the officers through the legal process and ensure that they uphold the greatest form of professional standards, the police would like to strongly encourage the harmed victim to come forward and support the police investigation.
