According to information that has reached kingcyrusonline.com, the daughter of Bekwai Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon Kwaku Kyei Baffour, was fatally shot by unidentified gunmen.
The murdered woman, who was reportedly in her 30s, was shot dead by as-yet-unidentified shooters.
The victim, known as Akua Serwaa, was attacked by the attackers on Thursday, August 3, 2003, at around 8 o’clock in the evening, in the Ashanti Region’s Bebu neighborhood close to Kumasi.

Police quickly added that investigations were proceeding to determine the purpose of the attack and punish the attackers when they are apprehended in accordance with local laws after confirming the terrible incident to this portal.
The deceased’s remains was then placed in the mortuary of the Bekwai Municipal Hospital pending an autopsy.
The deceased’s family has not yet released a statement to the media regarding the tragedy.
