The Student Loan Trust Fund gives easy steps to make payment

The Student Loan Trust Fund whose main purpose is to provide timely financial services to eligible Ghanaian tertiary students, and inspire and unleash greater prospects has released a statement which will help students to pay their loans via Ghana.gov and enjoy e-levy waiver.

Steps have been listed concerning payment via Momo or via Bank of your choice. Simply follow the steps below;

  1. Go to the students Loan Website (https://www.sltf.gov.gh)
  2. Select Pay Loan
  3. If you have a Student Loan account already, click on the login button and provide your login details, (i.e. social security number), then go to step 6 and continue the process
  4. If you do not have a Students Loan account already, still click on login button and provide your login details (i.e. social security number)
  5. You will receive a code via email and text message to complete the process, then continue from step 6 below
  6. Select Pay My Loan
  7. Confirm your details and proceed
  8. Select Ghana.gov
  9. To pay via any bank of your choice, generate an invoice
    • Complete the fields and the amount you wish to pay, and select generate invoice
    (Print or save soft copy of the invoice generated)
    • Walk in to any nearest bank of your choice and present the invoice generated to pay at the counter or
    • Pay online using the Ghana.gov platform
  10. To pay via Mobile Money (Any network)
    • Complete the fields and the amount you wish to pay
    • Select proceed to payment
    • Complete the payment on your phone by authorizing the transaction
