The case of Agradaa has just taken a new turn
The police prosecutors in charge of the investigation have requested extra time to submit disclosure materials in the case against Patricia Asiedua, also known as Nana Agradaa, the founder of the Heaven Way Champion Ministries International Church.
Nana Agradaa has entered a not guilty plea to five counts of defrauding by false pretense and one count of charlatanic marketing.
Since then, the court presided over by Her Honor Mrs. Evelyn Asamoah has granted her bail.
The self-styled preacher has also been brought before Circuit Court 9 and Circuit Court 4 for the same allegations, and in each case, she was granted bail.
DSP Sylvester Asare requested an adjournment when the case was summoned in court on Thursday, December 15 so they could file their disclosure documents and serve them on the defense attorneys.
The case was postponed to January 25, 2023 after consultation with the parties by the court, presided over by Her Honor Evelyn Asamoah.
When the case was called, Nana Agradaa was there.
