Teachers’ Fund Activates Off-Payroll Contributions on Mobile App and Web Portal – Full Details
The Teachers’ Fund has announced the full activation of its Off-Payroll Contribution feature on its Mobile App and Web Portal, offering members a convenient way to make voluntary contributions outside their regular payroll deductions.
In a notice dated 10th February 2026, the Fund indicated that the new feature allows members to contribute directly through the mobile application or web portal without any transaction costs. According to the Fund, members will not incur any fees, charges, or deductions, and all contributions made will be credited in full to their Teachers’ Fund accounts.
The introduction of the Off-Payroll Contribution option is expected to give teachers greater flexibility in managing their savings and financial planning. Members can choose to contribute at their convenience, whether daily, monthly, quarterly, or yearly.
How the Off-Payroll Contribution Works
Members who wish to make contributions via Mobile Money (MoMo) can follow these steps:
- Log into the Teachers’ Fund Mobile App or access the web portal via the official website.
- Select the Contribution option after logging in.
- Choose Off-Payroll Contribution.
- First-time users must select their mobile network and save their mobile wallet details.
- Select Mobile Money (MoMo) as the payment option and proceed.
- Add or select the Mobile Money wallet.
- Enter the amount they wish to contribute.
- Authorize the transaction using their MoMo PIN after receiving the prompt on their phone.
Once authorization is successful, the contribution is credited instantly to the member’s Teachers’ Fund account.
