SHS Final Year Student killed by boyfriend for denying him sleepover
In a tragic course of events, Diana Oppong, a Senior High School (SHS) student in Terchire, Ahafo Region, was battered to death by her boyfriend. The guy reportedly paid Diana a visit and insisted, over her protests, on staying the night.
Diana’s lifeless body was located nearby in the early morning hours, encircled by bloody puddles. She is thought to have been brutally attacked by her boyfriend, who is also responsible for her eventual demise. Devastated by the passing, Diana’s mother voiced her grief and spoke highly of her daughter’s character.
“I have lost a truly amazing person who was incredibly supportive of me. My heart aches, and I can only pray that justice prevails and those responsible are brought to book. I am seeking solace in God and trusting that He will heal my wounds,” she said.
An investigation by the police has been opened by the local authorities. As the inquiry continues, more information is anticipated to become available.
