Ghanaian Music Icon Samini to Make Acting Debut in September’s Movie ‘The Storm’. Directed by Ben Owusu, “The Storm” will premiere at Silverbird Cinemas in Kumasi on Saturday, September 21, and Sunday, September 22, 2024.
In this gripping Ghanaian thriller, Samini stars as Ali Zafara, a feared and ruthless leader of the Southern Crime underworld. The film features a talented cast, including Ama K. Abebrese, Adjetey Anang, Fiifi Coleman, Salma Mumin, Edward Agyakum Kuffuor, and Luckie Lawson.
Set in Accra, “The Storm” explores the city’s dark underworld, revealing a world of crime, murder, kidnapping, and corruption. Detectives Danso (Adjetey Anang) and Lynn (Ama K. Abebrese) emerge as the only honest members of the law enforcement team, striving to bring justice amidst the chaos.
