Risk to motorists’ lives from deadly potholes on Tamale Road [VIDEO]

Amadu Yahuzah, an assemblyman representing the Kalariga-Dabokpaa electoral district, has urged the Tamale Metropolitan Assembly in the Northern Region to repair the practically impassable road in order to save more calamity.

Following Adom News’ visit, it was discovered that the majority of drivers, both commercial and private, take highways from the southern part of the country to locations like Yendi, Tatale, and even Tog, which are dangerous for drivers’ lives.

Speaking to Adom News, the Assembly member for the Kalariga-Dabokpaa constituency said the Roads Minister once visited the region during the beginning stages of the issue and made a commitment to fix it after the rainy season, but they haven’t heard back from him.

The Assemblyman noted that incidents had become much too frequent in the area, particularly involving motorbike riders on the nearly deserted route, and he urged the local and metropolitan authorities in Tamale to take appropriate action to address the issue.
