Nurse laments the poor condition of roads at Sunyani Kotokurom, pleads for Government intervention [video]
A female nurse has lamented the poor condition of roads at Sunyani Kotokurom in the Bono Region which hinders the work progress of health officials.
The nurse whose name is concealed took to social media to express her exasperation while in her discolored and dirty uniform.
She said that the roads are bad to the extent that nurses in the area always take along some of their house attires along so that the dust from the roads do not stain their nursing uniforms.

“The roads are so bad that nurses cannot wear their uniforms when traveling to work, as they would end up discolored and dirty. In the case of emergency, we have to change into our nursing uniforms before attending to patients which slows down the pace of the work.”, she noted.
Additionally, she mentions that drivers avoid picking them up late at night due to the nature of the road. She pleaded to the government to help curb the pressing issue.
