NTC outlines National Teacher Licensing Mop-up plan for Teachers Nationwide

The National Teaching Council (NTC) in a flyer has released date it will begin its Teachers Licensing mop up plan exercise.

The NTC wishes to inform all teachers across the country that a team from the NTC will be in all the sixteen (16) regions to begin the mop-up exercise on November 7, 2022 and end on December 7, 2022. NTC is urging all qualified teachers to make themselves available for this exercise. Head teachers are therefore required to pass this information to all newly trained teachers and any other teacher(s) in your schools.
The exercise is the same way like the last time they came. It is a mop – up exercise for those who couldn’t do it the last time. Newly trained posted teachers without staff IDs do not qualify to take part in the exercise. They have to wait till they are given their staff numbers. Newly trained posted teachers with Staff IDs must have also written NTC Licensure exams and passed the examination. Teachers within Savannah Region are to go to the Regional Education Office; Damongo, for the exercise.

Teachers are expected to go along with their licensure number or NTC number,  and a National ID card; preferably the Ghana card.
