NaSIA to Inspect 225 Public Schools in First Term of 2025/2026 Academic Year

The National Schools Inspectorate Authority (NaSIA) has announced the commencement of its first-term School Compliance Inspections for the 2025/2026 academic year.
In a notice dated 2nd October 2025 and addressed to the Director-General of the Ghana Education Service (GES), NaSIA indicated that 225 public schools across the country will undergo inspections between Monday, 13th October 2025, and Friday, 24th October 2025.
The inspections will be carried out by Inspection Panels (IPs) deployed by the Authority to assess compliance levels in the selected schools.

According to the Inspector-General of Schools (Ag.), Ing. Prof. Azeko Salifu Tahiru, the exercise forms part of NaSIA’s mandate to ensure that educational institutions meet set standards and deliver quality education.
“We look forward to having a successful inspection for the term,” Prof. Tahiru stated in the notice.
The communication was copied to the Director-General of TVET Services, the Conference of Directors of Education (CODE) of GES, and all Regional Directors of NaSIA, signaling the collaborative effort expected to ensure effective monitoring.
