Memorial and Funeral details of Kiernan ‘AKA’ Jarryd Forbes

The burial and memorial services for South African rapper Kiernan “AKA” Jarryd Forbes have been set for Friday, February 17, and Saturday, February 18.

AKA was shot and died after celebrating his 35th birthday with his buddies at a restaurant in Durban.

In a quiet rural home, he will be laid to rest exactly one week from now.

On Friday, a memorial service will take place at the Sandton Convention Center to honour his life and achievements.

The family has made preparations for his memorial to be open to the public and streamed online in memory of the guy who made an impression via his gift of music.

The family has pleaded for understanding during this difficult time, as well as for space and time to gather and make additional decisions about his passing.
