1. Professional (Obstetrics and Gynaecology)
Required Person Requirements:
• A Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree (MB ChB) or a comparable medical credential
• Possession of a postgraduate degree in obstetrics and gynecology at the level of membership or fellowship of the GCPS/WACPS or an equivalent.
• Membership with Ghana’s Medical and Dental Council.
• Proof of ongoing professional development in the field of the pertinent speciality and in a variety of management and leadership topics.
2. Medical Officer
Required Person Requirements:
• A degree equivalent to the Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MB ChB).
· Two (2) years of job experience after graduation.
• Current Medical and Dental Council registration.
• Proof of leadership and ongoing professional growth.
3. Nursing Director
Qualifications Required:
• Registered general nurses (RGN) who hold nursing degrees.
• A background or education in midwifery.
• Knowledge of public health.
· Ten (10) years of job experience after graduation.
• Current PIN
• Becoming a member of GCNM will be beneficial.
• Proof of management education and ongoing professional growth.
OR
• a Registered General Nurse (RGN) who holds a nursing master’s degree.
• A background or education in midwifery.
• Knowledge of public health.
• A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience following a graduate degree.
• Current PIN
• Becoming a member of GCNM will be beneficial.
• Proof of management training and ongoing professional growth.
4. Requirements for Registered Midwives Required:
• A Registered Midwife (RM) with a Midwifery Degree.
· Five (5) years of job experience after graduation.
• A valid PIN.
• Becoming a member of GCNM will be beneficial.
• Proof of management education and ongoing professional growth.
5. Requirements for Biomedical Scientists Required:
• A BSc in medical laboratory science or a related field in biomedicine.
• Registration with the Council for Allied Health Professions.
• A valid PIN.
• A minimum of five (5) years of work experience following registration.
• At least a year in a managerial position.
• Proof of ongoing professional development.
6. Clinical pharmacist requirements include having a doctorate in pharmacy or a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy.
• A minimum of five (5) years of work experience following registration.
• Pharmacist on the Register (Active registration with GPC).
• Proof of leadership and ongoing professional growth.
7. Requirements for Radiographers:
• Radiography BSc/B-Tech.
· Three (3) years of working experience after graduation.
• Registration with the Council for Allied Health Professions.
• A valid PIN.
• Proof of ongoing professional growth in radiographic services
8. Sonographers
Two (2) years of job experience after graduation.
• Registration with the Council for Allied Health Professions.
• A valid PIN.
• Proving radiographic services professionals have continued their professional growth.
9. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in health services management is required for health services administrators.
· Five (5) years of job experience after graduation.
• Proof of management education and ongoing professional growth.
10. The following educational requirements are necessary for the position of head of human resources:
• Being a member of CIHRMP is a benefit.
· Five (5) years of job experience after graduation.
• Proof of prior work in the medical field.
• Proof of management education and ongoing professional growth.
11. Qualifications for Front Desk Executive
• A university-level general management diploma or a higher national diploma (HND).
• Three (3) years of job experience after receiving a degree.
• Proof of prior work in the medical field.

12. Health information management, bachelor’s or master’s degree is a requirement for biostatisticians.
