I love you, Adrienne, Mark Pilgrim says in his proposal
Getting married is Mark Pilgrim. On New Year’s Eve, the radio DJ asked Adrienne Watkins to be his girlfriend. Mark’s recent health issues haven’t stopped Adrienne from supporting him.
On New Year’s Eve, well-known radio personality Mark Pilgrim proposed. Pilgrim, who will receive a stage 4 lung cancer diagnosis in June 2022, was released from the hospital earlier this week following a 64-day stay that included various medical operations that caused him to lose 15 kg.
Adrienne Watkins, his partner, has supported him throughout the 53-year-social old’s media chronicling of his health experience.
The DJ posted a picture of himself holding out a ring to an astonished Adrienne on his Instagram account to officially announce his engagement. I love you, Adrienne, he wrote in the post’s caption, along with various other emojis, such as rings, champagne flutes, and red hearts.

“One day, as we sip cocktails on the beach, with our toes in the sand and the girls laughing in the background, we’ll look back at these past months and say that this was one hell of a journey… and we got through it,” Pilgrim wrote alongside a photo of himself and Adrienne on his fourth day in the hospital.
He has dealt with terrible illness before. Pilgrim had a stage 3 testicular cancer diagnosis in 1988, and after undergoing nine months of chemotherapy, his condition was deemed to be in remission. He had a sudden heart attack in his doctor’s office in 2008. In 2022, he was also down with Covid-19. “This time, I am familiar with the road. It’s still terrifying, but I’m not as naive now,” he says. “I’m brave and strong. They move forward side by side. I am stronger because I acknowledge both emotions. In a recent interview with YOU magazine, Mark said: “When you’re terrified, you have the desire to fight even harder.
Tayla-Jean and Alyssa, daughters of Pilgrim and his ex-wife Nicole Torres, were born. In 2020, the couple filed for divorce.
