KA Technologies which is the manufacturer of the TM1 laptop for teachers has released a flyer detailing how teachers can use their TM1 laptop warranty card for free repair services.
In the flyer, KA Technologies indicated that the TM1 laptop has a warranty of 24 months and it is mandatory for users of the product to present the warranty card at any KATCARE centre.
“Dear TM1 user, do you know that TM1 laptop has a 24-months warranty? Yes, 24 months! Fill in and keep your warranty card found in your TM1 laptop package safe. Note: it is mandatory that you present your warranty card at any KATCARE service centre.” It said in the flyer.

The warranty card has product name, model number, serial number, customer, address, contact number, email, and date of purchase that the user has to fill and present it at any KATCare center when going for repairs or servicing. They also recommend that users attach their product receipt, showing the date of purchase to the warranty card and keep it for reference.
It also sent message to coordinators informing them on how management is committed to enforcing the TM1 warranty card policy.
The message read, “Dear Coordinators, Please be informed that management is enforcing the TM1 WARRANTY CARD policy. Therefore, all coordinators are expected to inform teachers about this policy, especially during distributions of laptops. There is a warranty card in the package of the laptop, and teachers are supposed to fill and keep the card safe. Please share the message with all your teachers. Thank you.”
