How to Register for E-Payslip
The e-payslip system is part of the government’s effort to ensure transparency, ease of access, and convenience in managing salary-related information.
If you’re a government worker, here’s a simple guide to help you activate your e-payslip account in just seven easy steps:
Step 1: Contact Your Validator
Your first step is to contact your designated validator. This could be your head of school, head of department, unit, or the HR office at your workplace. Your validator will generate a unique code for you to register your e-payslip account. To do this, they will need your Staff ID.
Step 2: Open Your Browser
Once you have your registration code, open a web browser on your computer or mobile device. You can use popular browsers such as Google Chrome, Opera Mini, or Firefox.
Step 3: Visit the e-Payslip Website
In the address bar of your browser, type www.gogpayslip.com and press Enter or click Go to visit the official e-payslip portal.
Step 4: Register for e-Payslip
When the website opens, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the ‘Register for e-payslip’ option to begin your registration process.
Step 5: Enter Your Details
- Employee Number/Staff ID: Your unique ID number assigned to you by your employer.
- Registration Code: The code generated by your validator (head of school, HR, etc.).
- New Password: Choose a secure password that is easy for you to remember but hard for others to guess.
- Email Address: Use an active email address (or create one if you don’t have one already).
- Telephone Number: Provide your active phone number.
Ensure all the details are accurate before moving on to the next step.
Step 6: Receive a One-Time Password (OTP)
After filling in the necessary information, click Next. A One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent to the phone number you provided.
Step 7: Confirm Your Number
Enter the OTP sent to your phone to verify your number. Once confirmed, your e-payslip portal will be successfully activated.
With these simple steps, you can now access your e-payslip portal and begin tracking your salary payments, SSNIT deductions, taxes, loans, insurance, and other relevant information.
For more information or assistance, you can always reach out to your workplace HR or designated validator.
