How to create a WhatsApp Channel

In June of this year, WhatsApp launched its Channel function, which is evocative of Instagram, initially in a few locations. The platform, which is owned by Meta, is starting to roll out this service internationally, including in India.

According to WhatsApp, Channels provide a quick, secure, and private way to get important updates from people and organisations right inside the WhatsApp platform.

Using channels, administrators can broadcast one-way content such as text messages, pictures, videos, stickers, and polls. The business is in the midst of developing a searchable directory to help users identify channels that catch their attention.

Users can browse this directory to locate channels covering a variety of interests, including their favourite sports teams, local government updates, and several other topics.
