Ghana’s AirtelTigo rebrands as AT

Leading telecommunications provider AirtelTigo Ghana has changed its name to AT officially.

To become AirtelTigo, Airtel and Tigo merged in November 2017. Since the merger, the business has operated as AirtelTigo and has provided a range of telecommunications services, including data, mobile money, and other mobile phone services.

All upcoming communications, marketing materials, and branding initiatives will use the new name, AT. All promotional materials for AirtelTigo will eventually be updated to reflect AT while keeping the current brand colors.

All sub-brands, including AT Money, AT Business, AT Premier, and AT Insurance, will adopt the new name.

Leo Skarlatos, Chief Executive Officer of AirtelTigo Ghana, remarked during a roundtable discussion that “AT is a bold and strategic move aimed at reflecting our brand promise of simplicity making it easier for our customers to identify and engage with us. Please be aware that this change only affects the brand name and logo and has no bearing on our organizational structure, offerings, or customer base.

“We will keep providing the same cutting-edge services that our clients have come to know and rely upon, with a stronger emphasis on user experience and client satisfaction.”

He reaffirmed AT’s commitment to making life as easy as possible for its clients.

“We believe that this name change will only serve to strengthen our brand identity and represents our dedication to growth and simplicity,” Mr. Skarlatos reaffirmed.
