Ghana Meteorological Agency issues warning to the public following last night storm

On Tuesday, March 7, 2023, the Ghana Meteorological Agency released a weather report outlining the reasons why heavy rains were predicted to fall in some areas of the nation.

“Southeastern Ghana has been covered by a rain-bearing cloud,” the storm alert stated. The Volta Area is experiencing rain of varied intensities as a result.

“Areas inside Greater Accra and Eastern would be hit before drifting to the Central, Western, and portions of the Ashanti Region,” the statement stated.
