Ghana Meteorological Agency gives weather update in the next 24 hours

The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has given update on the weather in the next twenty four (24) hours in some specific places across Ghana. In a statement released on Monday, October 24, 2022, signed by Robert Ghanney; duty forecaster, some of these places are to expect sunny, thunderstorms and rain, slightly rain, and partly cloudy weather conditions during the morning, afternoon and the evening with temperatures ranging twenty two (22) degrees Celsius to thirty five (35) degrees Celsius. Places like Aflao, Accra, Kasoa, Cape Coast, Takoradi, Axim, Ho, Koforidua, Akim Oda, Kumasi, Obuasi, Tarkwa, Sefwi Bekwai, Kete Krachi, Kintampo, Goaso, Sunyani, Techiman, Yendi, Tamale, Bole, Damongo, Bolgatanga, Nalerigu, and Wa were mentioned with their corresponding temperatures.

In summary it said, “cloudy conditions are expected over most part of southern Ghana this morning with misty conditions occurring over forest and high ground areas. Sunny intervals will be experienced as the day progresses with areas experiencing thundery and rain activities this afternoon and later in the day. Sunny periods are however expected over Northern half during the afternoon with a minimal chance of rain in the evening.”

This update should help residents in such areas in scheduling their activities today.
