The Board of Trustees of the Ghana Education Service Occupational Pension Scheme (GESOPS) has officially announced a change in the administration of its Tier 2 pension scheme.
According to a public notice published in the Daily Graphic on Monday, September 8, 2025, Apex Trustee Limited has been appointed as the new Administrator of GESOPS, replacing GLICO Pensions.
The notice explained that all enquiries, requests, and correspondence relating to members’ Tier 2 pensions should now be directed to the GESOPS Secretariat. The new contact details are as follows:

The Trustees of GESOPS reassured members that the Scheme remains committed to safeguarding the retirement benefits of workers under the Ghana Education Service and delivering efficient service.

This development signals a new chapter for the pension scheme, with stakeholders expecting Apex Trustee Limited to continue improving service delivery for GES staff across the country.
