GES organizes a five-day training on differentiated learning for teachers across the country

In a letter with reference number; GES/S&ID/DL/2023/002, dated February 15, 2023, signed by Prince Charles Agyeman-Duah; Ag. Director, Schools and Instruction Division, for Director General, the management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) wishes to bring to the attention of all Regional Directors of Education concerned that there will be a refresher training for teachers from selected schools as well as District Training Officers and any other officer on Differentiated Learning (DL).

This forms part of measures instituted by Management of GES in ensuring the effectiveness of the DL programme to help  improve teaching and learning outcomes.

The progrmme starts on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 to Saturday, March 11, 2023 in all the selected Districts Capitals.

Master trainers from different regions will facilitate the training exercise.

The GES added that funds to support the organization of the programme as well as that of Master trainers have been forwarded to the various District Education Directorates. District Directors of Education are expected by the GES to adhere strictly to directives concerning the Master trainers.

Additionally, Districts concerned will be responsible for the provision of all relevant materials for the programme.

Regional Directors of Education are to inform their respective Metro, Municipal and District Directors of Education to ensure the success of the exercise.
