GES organizes a Five-Day Nationwide Refresher Training Workshop on Differentiated Learning Cohort-4

In a letter dated June 14, 2023, with reference number- GES/PA/VOL.1/23/073, signed by Mr. Prince C. Agyemang-Duah; AG. Director, Schools & Instructions Division, for Director-General, Management of Ghana Education Service (GES) wishes to inform all Regional Directors of Education concerned that there will be a refresher training on Differentiated Learning (DL) for teachers from the selected schools as well as training officers from the selected Metro/Municipal and District Education Offices for cohort-4.

This is to help teachers equip themselves adequately with the DL concept to enable learners attain their full learning potential through improved teaching and learning outcomes.

The date for the workshop is from Monday, 3rd July, 2023 to Friday, 7th July, 2023. The venue for the workshop is to be determined by the Education Directorate.

Management stated categorically that venue selected for the training should be ideal for individual and group activities as well as lesson demonstrations. Master Trainers from different Regions will facilitate the training exercise.

Funds for the organisation of the programme as well as transportation and allowances for Master Trainers have been forwarded to the selected District Education Offices accounts. Directors of Education concerned must adhere strictly to directives concerning the payment of T&T and allowances to Master Trainers.

Districts concerned will be responsible for the adequate provision of all relevant materials for the success of the programme.

Regional Directors of Education are to inform their respective Metro/Municipal/District Directors of Education to put measures in place to ensure a successful programme.

Please find attached the list of schools and items that will be needed for the programme.
